Hats Off to Gen. Lytwak and his Union Army who defeated my southern army after 160 turns (of 300) of maneuver and hard fighting. In the end, the Yankees were able to separate Petersburg from Richmond by breaking through the Bermuda Hundred defensive line. I guess the south couldn't keep Butler bottled up after all. Once isolated, Petersburg was doomed and eventually succumbed to a methodical assault and bombardment from all sides. This alt version of the scenario kept Early's Corp with the ANV where the extra manpower made for a much more interesting game of maneuver and attack and defense by both sides.

Great naval battles on the James as well. The navies made for some interesting strategic and tactical situations.

Wait for revisions to the scenario though (or add another 1000 rounds with the editor) -- the Confederates ran out of artillery ammo near the end.

Again, huzzah for General Lytwak!

Ahhh, General Kunz, sir! *takes a long swig from a jug*

Someone has to do it, sir. May I order you a mint julep..a little extra on the "julep", sir?

Sorry, gents. It wasn't my fight, and I should offer my toxic diatribe.

By the way, gents,*hiccups* King George III declared us in an open state of rebellion on this day in 1775?

Do you Rebs still celebrate? *hiccups...and takes another long swig from the jug*
