Sisters and Brothers of the American Civil War Game Club

Derald Riggs and I attended a virtual Memorial Service for John Dragan last Sunday. We each gained a greater insight into the complexity of this man in his capacity as being a human being.

The next day Derald made a contribution to the American Battlefield Trust in John's name.

Also Derald and I have purchased a brick in John's name at the Main Street Gettysburg Project:

We miss our friend but now know his name is linked to American History by preserving history.

Derald and David <salute>

A fitting tribute indeed.

Do either of you have a photograph of John? I would very much like to see a picture of this vaunted warrior and perhaps also, a Club tribute to him that would include his motto the club has embraced and this photograph could be established in the Memorial Page.

With very best regards

A really wonderful tribute guys! Thanks for honoring him this way.

When I go to Gettysburg in November, I'll locate it and take a photo.
