Just in case anyone is not already on the American Battlefield Trust emailing list, or if you are not aware of the organization, they are the premiere non-profit group preserving historic land in America today. Their latest drive is to help save 49 acres at Gettysburg from development. Times are tough but if you are anything like me, and you probably are, the idea of more subdivisions and retail around Gettysburg probably makes your blood boil.

The fight against "development" on battlefield lands and the surrounding areas never ceases!

The extra $5.38 to $1.00 dollar match is another good reason, beside the obvious.

Drove past what I think is the area the other day. Already a large lot subdivision further down the road, but this one cuts much closer in to things. A big, big chunk of land too.
