 Post subject: Ed Bearss Passes Away

I am sure any Civil War buff out there has either read a book by this man or seen him on Ken Burns's The Civil War. Quite a fascinating life filled with public service and a love of history.

Rob,

Thanks for letting us know. I do remember watching him in the Ken Burn's The Civil War series. I also watched in another documentary as well.

Sad to see the lose of another passionate ACW historian.

He was certainly among the foremost Civil War historians of all time.

For me he was a storyteller who brought the ACW to life, an American treasure who will be sorely missed
