Hi guys,

Most Matrix Games are on sale for $9.99 until Jan. 10th. I've looked over the ACW games and see Scourge of War series (Antietam/Chancellorsville/Gettysburg) on sale and Brother Against Brother.

Haven't tried these and was thinking of giving them a shot...for $9 bucks.

I know Berto said he liked the BAB game but it wasn't supported and abandoned. Was just thinking of trying it for kicks.

I have both. Haven't played BAB. SOW is probably still the go-to for realism (understanding GT is still in Early Access.)

Lt. Col. Campbell, sir! <salute>

Jason, have you tried SOW h2h (online)? How does it play out for a single game, like Antietam? Would it be considered for a Club type match as well?

I've got the SOW Gettysburg DEMO. Pretty interesting but I haven't bought any of the series yet.

No sir I have not played an online game. However, I do know a gentleman on our Facebook page that hosts a SOW Gettysburg online group. I can ask him to contact you via email if you like. Im sure he can answer all your questions far better than I could.
$9.99 is hard to pass up. I think I paid $14 a few years back when they offered the anniversary edition on sale.

I have BAB, but have only played the tutorial. From what little I've played, I liked it at least as well as JTS. Shame that it didn't catch on. For $9, I think it's well worth trying out.
