Gentlemen, this seems to have gone unnoticed: https://www.wargamedesignstudio.com/202 ... ar-update/ There is only one paragraph(and some screenshots) related to the CW series but it's pretty interesting: "Twelve months ago, we mentioned a final Civil War Battles title being worked on by John Ferry. This game has made material progress and despite being the last title in the series it will probably come with more new rules than any that proceeded it. At last count there was already over one-hundred scenarios completed or in testing, with a few more to go. Many of the new rules will allow a range of new situations to be gamed including naval actions, shore bombardments, amphibious operations, and the more normal ground-based combat." |

What could it possibly be? I've been searching through the various titles and I can't think of a major campaign that has not been covered, especially as the statement says it includes naval actions, shore bombardments and amphibious operations. |

Then it may be a collection of minor campaigns not covered. One screenshot seem to show the Battle of Pleasant Hill, part of the Red River campaign. Another with the many sailing ships could be any of the assaults on a fort. |

Gentlemen, Sirs! <salute> Yes that is interesting and seems to be hopeful for at least part of the Red River Campaign! So I made some notes on the screen shots: 1) was August 5, 1862, the Battle of Baton Rouge, 2) March 14, 1863, Port Hudson, Louisiana 3) April 9, 1864 Pleasant Hill and 4) April 22, 1864, ? Remember what has been promised after the release of the final ACW Campaign game, the unlocking of the maps for the series! Respectfully, Your Obedient Servant, General Nick Kunz Commandant, VMI |

If the old discussion holds true, the final version should include: *-Map editor *-Weapons List editing *-Massive amount of missing scenarios *-Modified platform to include several updates and error corrections If this is truly the case, should be a big hit and a great closure to an amazing ACW gaming series. Can't wait!! |

Looks like it'll be a lot of the coastal/seaboard actions. 4 - is Red River 5 - is Fort Fisher |
