CSA Cabinet Secretary: Jim Garner, Term: November 15, 2020 (Interim Appointment - Election Pending for February 2021). The ACWGC Cabinet Election Committee will be prepared to begin receiving nominations for the election of the CSA Cabinet Secretary position on January 21, 2021 through January 27, 2021. Campaigning will commence on January 28, 2021 to February 10, 2021, followed by voting February 10, 2021 to February 17, 2021. Eligibility: Candidates for CSA Cabinet Secretary must hold the rank of Colonel or above and a be member of the CSA Military Group. (3.3.4.2.1). Nomination Procedure: 1) Candidates must be nominated by two other members of the CSA Military Group before being placed on the ballot. 2) Nominations must be submitted to the entire Election Committee, email addresses provided below. You need not send a separate email to each member of the Committee one email with ccs to the other members of the Committee is sufficient. 3) Nominations must include a statement that the nominated officer agrees to serve if elected. 4) If nominating, the officer should use the email address of record contained in the Department of Records. The election committee will work to verify the identity of the nominating officer before the end of the nominating period; however, the nomination will be disqualified if this is not possible before the end of the nominating period.
