General Scott Ludwig <salute>
Generals D W Mallory and Nick Kunz submitted the following recommendation that you be awarded the ACWGC Legion of Merit.

RE: Legion of Merit Commendation for Scott Ludwig
"Gentlemen of the Cabinet:
Scott Ludwig joined the American Civil War Gaming Club in May of 2003 on the CSA side, #CSASL893. He was trained at VMI by General Gary Cope and graduated in July and was assigned to the Army of Northern Virginia.
He became Commanding Officer of the III Corps of the ANV in December of 2005 and served for 6 months. In June, 2006 he became the Western Theater Commander serving until return to command of the III Corps of ANV in October 2009. He became VMI Deputy Commandant from April 2011 through January 2012 and at the same time ANV Division Commander of 2nd Division/ II Corps April 2011 - October 2011.
Serving again as Western Theater Commander starting in November 2011 and serving until the end of October 2013. He was also CSA Cabinet Secretary January 15 through December 15, 2014
Serving as CSA Chief of the Armies started in December 2014 running through January 9, 2021 which is also a CSA CoA Cabinet member during that time frame.
All the while serving in command positions since December of 2005 until January, 2021 he has been maintaining ACWGC Websites, providing Diplomas for VMI and Promotion Orders for the CSA since 2013. Without his technical expertise and skills certainly the CSA and the ACWGC would have been hard press to accomplish what has been the standard for the past 8 years! I certainly can think of no one else who has had a more positive effect on the CSA Side and the ACWGC these past 15 plus years as General Scott Ludwig has!"
