Gentlemen <salute>

The nomination period for the CSA Cabinet Secretary: Jim Garner, Term: November 15, 2020 (Interim Appointment - Election Pending for February 2021) has closed.

Colonel Josef Seidl was duly nominated and has readily agreed to serve in this position.

Club Rule 3.3.4.1.7 states: “In the event only one candidate has been nominated by the end of the nominating period, that candidate will be elected by acclamation and no vote will be necessary.”

Therefore, it is my pleasure to welcome Colonel Seidl to the ACWGC Cabinet and to express my appreciation for the commitment to the welfare and future of our Club that he is making by assuming this Office.

Gentlemen, Sirs! <salute>

I would like to offer my congratulations to Colonel (promotable Brigadier General) Josef Seidl for stepping up to serve the ACWGC! Colonel Siedl joined VMI Class of 1861 (2020) back in July and assumed command of Stewart's IV Cavalry Division in December! http://www.wargame.ch/wc/acw/sub/ANV/anv_I_corps/cavalry_division.htm

I have every confidence in him that he will continue to serve the Club as Cabinet Secretary as he has done with his current command! New members and new ideas, you gotta love it! :mrgreen:
