Gentlemen!

After consultation with Union Cabinet Secretaries BG Jim Boling and LG Scott Eichelberger, it is my pleasure to appoint Major General Steve Sober as the Interim UA Chief of the Armies (CoA).

Steve joined the ACWGC in 2017. He is now serving as the Assistant Superintendent and Chief of Staff of the Union Military Academy and as Division Commander of the -/1/XV of the AotT.

Please join me in a salute to General Sober for stepping up to serve in this position while an election is organized and held to fill the UA CoA previously held by General Michael Dowling.

I can only imagine what life would be like if more people realized that participation in any endeavor can be hugely enhanced by assuming an active role in what keeps things going. For a labor of love, this should be fundamental.

May I always remember to engage brain before shifting into mouth.

I can only much admire a man for stepping up into the role of Union CoA - must be tough when staring down the barrel of loosing the war for the Union. :mrgreen:
