I started looking at HPS/JTS Franklin for the first time since the big 3.0 update. About 80% of the Federal cavalry is now unarmed. This was not an issue in the past. Their OOB lists them with having "z" weapons which the PDT files do not support. As a result they have no weapons at all.
While it might be amusing I can't imagine any Yanks wanting to battle in a scenario where they are without weapons.
I emailed JTS support about the issue and I hope to hear back about it in the future.
Just thought I'd give people a heads up. Be sure to check the scenario first because many become unplayable as a result.
To manually fix it you can alter the OOB's to replace all the "z" weapons with "C" weapons which are Carbines. Just make sure your opponent does the same thing.
The one on the left has no weapons! The one on the right does.
