Gentlemen <salute> This announcement is made to present information regarding the upcoming election of the position of the UA Chief of Army (CSA CoA) held previously by General Michael Dowling who resigned the position on March 15, 2021. The Election Committee consists of: General Mallory: dwmallo01@yahoo.com General Cameron McOmish: cameron.mcomish@gmail.com Brigadier General Josef Seidl: tinhead.526@gmail.com The dates of the election process steps are as follows: April 12 to April 25: Nomination Period April 26 to May 9: Campaigning Period May 10 to May 16: Voting Period Please note that the Campaigning Period & Voting Period will only take place if there is more than one nominee. In the case where there is only one nominee, Club Rule 3.3.4.1.7 applies and the nominee will be elected by acclamation. As stated in Rule 3.3.4.1.2, in the election of a CoA, only members at the rank of Major General, Lieutenant General or General, at the time the voting period begins, may vote for the CoA representing their respective military group. The Election Committee will use the Department of Records to verify ranks to determine office eligibility, and such other criteria as may be necessary to determine voting eligibility. Nominations for the CoA may be made by any regular officer subject to the restrictions in Rule 3.3.4.2.2. All USA Officers of the rank of Major General and above are encouraged to participate in this process as it is not only important for each side but for the club overall. The Club wouldn't be here without all of you as members and those of us who help to run the Club. It is requested that commands inform their Officers who are eligible to vote about the election by email to ensure the best possible participation and cc the Club President (waltdortch@gmail.com) All details regarding this election process can be found under the club rules section 3.3 Club Governance at http://www.wargame.ch/wc/acw/ACWGCRules.html#org Details for each of the election process steps shown above will also be provided in subsequent forum threads. |
