I loved Victory Games, "The Civil War" and wish it was available as PBEM. If you do or did too, please have a close look at WBTS, which is available online and supported here. It should have a bigger following than it does! |

The TSS series was long my favourite, in all its incarnations from Bloody April (Shiloh) to 3 Days of Gettysburg (3-DoG) and the magazine games. But then along came Stonewall Jackson's Way and the whole GCACW series which are both lots of fun and have incredibly beautiful maps. The Gamer's had their brigade series and I really like the Regimental Sub-System ones. All these games I used to have before real life drove them away. Trying to rebuild my collection now. Those WEG games were quite fun too. I have the first two "new" Gamers ones (Line of Battle), Gettysburg and Antietam, but haven't even opened them. Yet!

I have yet to try the GCACW series. I've heard nothing but good about them. |
