Enters the tavern, drops a (not very large) bag of coins on the bar and announces, "Drinks are me."

Good Evening Everyone,

After a long second R&R, I am back to help the Union finally put down this rebellion. I originally started in the club way back last century in '98, in the dial up days. Began as a reb, but I saw the error of my ways (though if the Union is waiting for me to help, we are in big trouble).

I am thrilled the club is still active and the games have continued to grow. It is great to 'see' some old faces around as well as all the the new ones. Thank you to all of you who helped keep the club going.

I will post soon in the opponents finder, but I have Antietam, Shiloh and Shenandoah, and would like to get one or two battles and a campaign going while on summer break. Flexible about rules, send a courier if interested.

Now some toasts.

Let's raise a glass to those that keep the club running!
<Toast>

Through the years we have also seen the passing of many friends of the game, including John Tiller.
Let's raise a glass to those that are no longer with us!
<Toast>

Finally, I have made many long term friendships playing these games. So,
Let's raise a glass to each other, our comrades in arms!

I look forward to having fun and meeting new friends.

Warmest Regards,
Lt. Col. Beno

Welcome
It's good to see someone has found the light and left the dark side. You really should have joined us in the Valley.

New ones from Tiller. I have almost all the old BG/Talonsoft/HPS civil war games (everything but Peninsula, I think) but saw those don't work anymore. Missed the time to port over to new versions, but I got them on sale and I don't mind supporting them again.

Any suggestions for other 'must have' games?

Colonel Beno

My standard answer to what ACW Series games you should get: ALL OF THEM.

Welcome! Good to see an oldtimer return and even join the Union.

As for the games, I suggest to simply go after what you are interested in. If something depict a campaign or battle that you are interested in then go for it.
