I was wondering if we have or could post a monthly summary report each month or quarter that lists Reb and Yank Victories for that month in battles? I have always liked a little healthy competition and bragging rights. Might also be a way to increase member engagement in forums and battles. Just a thought, or even something in our reb forum if not on the main forum.

Something simple like
October 2021
Reb
Major V:12
Minor V:15

Yanks
Major V:1
Minor V:1

Top Commanders
Reb
General xxx-14 Victories

Yanks
Lt. Xxx-1 Victory

With all due respect, General Busey, I don't believe that the Yankees will ever go for it.

I cannot see them being appreciative of having their numerous defeats published every month for the general public to see. Such an endeavor would rapidly erode all of the carefully contrived misinformation that they so prolifically distribute claiming that they are actually winning this war.

No suh, as noble of an idea as this is for the proper representation of the truth to the American people, I cannot envision any Yankee that could evah honestly embrace it.

Whether they go for it or not, such information can be obtained. It is not a pretty sight, at least for those people on the other side.

Last month the ANV recorded 34 battles completed. The results were:
C.S.A.
Major Victory 17
Minor Victory 2

Draw 4

U.S.A.
Major Victory 4
Minor Victory 7

The ANV's top commander in October was Colonel William Treuting with 5 Major Victories (1 Minor Defeat) [Well done, Sir!] with the next nearest being yours truly who could only manage 3 Major Victories that month.

Regrettably for General Busey, I do not have details for the AoT but I'm sure it would be equally grisly reading for those from the other side.

Hoorah for Jeff Davis and the Confederacy!

As a Yank I have no problem with a monthly report, as long as the friendly humor is kept a minimum because there might be some gentlemen on both sides who might not see the friendly ribbing as humor.

General Newell could be correct, some folks might get a little antsy about the reporting. Of course I find most of those sensitive officers generally wear ostrich feathers in their cap. Strange isn't it?

Sir
I would have to disagree with that. A good percentage of us can take a good ribbing. Here is a list of nicknames for you Gentlemen of the south

General Newell <Salute>

I do associate myself with the Tennessee "Hog Drivers!" We do enjoy our sausage, so much so we call it "Tennessee Pride." But I have to say we sometimes are wary of those clannish Georgia boys, the "Goober Grabbers!"

Interesting idea.

Could be included in our periodic newsletter rather than a standalone effort.
