Post subject:  Union Side Refuses Peace Terms - ACWGC Continues
In a last-ditch effort to end the 25-year war between the Union and Confederate sides of the Club the Confederate representatives on the Cabinet proposed the total surrender of all Union forces. The offer, so gallantly, humanely, and nobly made, was completely rebuffed by the Federal officers on the Cabinet. Opting to continue the needless war of attrition, in which we Rebels will surely win, they promptly told us where we could stick our olive branch of peace.

And so, the war and the Club continues on...

I hear the only reason the Blue Bellies refused to surrender was because General Newell was unable to attend the surrender, due to his crocheting class being that evening. :lol:
