Well, there must be a severe abundance of stars over on the dark side if ya'll are just handing them out to every feller that comes along in a blue uniform! [:D]

Congrats, Jeff. Now see, I was just waiting until you were a confirmed General before continuing our battle along the Rappahanock. That will make it all the more impressive when my forces turn and drive you into the river and continue on into Washington victorious! [8D]

Yes, Jeff, you must feel truly blessed to have gotten to play the likes of a lowly Fld. Lt. such as myself [:D]

Congratulations, your promotion is well deserved. Anyone who can return 10 files (or whatever it was) in a single day, as we did one particular weekend, deserves special recognition! So why am I still at bottom of the CSA?!? [;)]

If your card is not too full (I know you always have quite a few games going) I am game for another battle. Let me know.

Congratulations again!

General Suh! (salute)
Congrats Jeff, ours was but a quick passing on the fields of Shiloh with your cavalry running around in my rear. Would love to meet you again at Beaver Dam Creek. In the meantime, I am taking some time off and heading for Hood Canal for some claming and oyster shucking.
All the best!

General Laub,

My congratulations, sir! I'll take one of those drinks.

I like your idea of sharing the credit with those who made this promotion possible. It's fun to relive old memories.

I had your right Laub!! I had your right and you ruined my fun!![:D][:D] More like the fact I can be spotted like a pack of elephants half the time on the field. I garner no surprise at all.[:D]

I am proud to be listed as one of your first victims!!

This is an honor to see such a fine officer as yourself promoted to full rank...the AoP is a fine institution of greatness and its commanders legendary. I believe a new legend has been found. [:D]

It will be a longtime comin' and cold day in hell when I see full General, and if I am half the General you are, I would be honored.

Safe passage and good drinks and food you shall have everytime you come in my Army's HQ!! [:D][:D]
