Lt. Col. Richard Whipkey,AoC XX, 2, 1, fresh off of a victory over my troops in Atlanta, sent a courier asking permissiion to do battle at Picketts Mill.

As he is unfamilar with the access to the forum, we request permission for him to represent the Union by means of this request.

I apologize for having posted this in the general opponent forum also.

COL Lajoie,

I'm a guessing the Union still needs my services. I'll take the out numbered Ferderals at CA 079, Chattahoochie. Any reb takers out there?

Col Lajoie,

I would like to engage the honorable Gen’l Wolken at Chattahoochie, even though he has begun the battle with the typical yankee propaganda[;)]. As usual, it will be the gallant Southern forces that are outnumbered (we will be fighting not one, but two separate yankee armies) – but then we are used to that.

Minor Reb Vic. at Picketts Mills. Posted to the PBEM opponent by error. Lt. Col. Whipkey is to be commended for the courage to volunteer. No other Yank would sign up.

Chickasaw Bayou - Battle Ended

Gents,

I am sorry to say that I surrender to Gen. McBride on the Bayou. After 90 turns of a 198 turn battle, he had me pushed back to the upper garrison. This was a Major Victory for the Union.

My hat goes off to Gen. McBride...

"Any people, anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable and most sacred right - a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world. Nor is this right confined to cases in which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it. Any portion of such people, that can may revolutionize and make their own of so many of the territory as they inhabit."
