Well. Good to have a home again, even if it's looking a bit "modern" for my taste. But I can't say I regret being rid of that ghastly brown. Especially because BLUE always looked so out of place on it.

Gentlemen, We now have a new location: index.php Here are instructions for getting set up in the new place. Be careful and follow them explicitly. If you have any problems, come back and re-read these instructions - I know I had to do that several times [:D] ! Seriously, if you have any problems please contact your superior officer. If he cannot help you he can pass your request up the chain of command. Member procedure to use new board Reset password instructions. 1 - Log in (Top Right), using your current username and password. This will be denied. 2 - Follow instructions to “request a new password”. 3 - Get the Email. 4 - Activate first from the Email. (Your new password will not work unless you do this step!) 5 - Login with the new password. 6 - Go to "User Control" Panel (Top Left). 7 - Go to the "Profile" tab (across the top). 8 – Select “Edit account settings”. 9 - Enter the password of your choice (including your old password, if you prefer). 10 - Press the Submit button at the bottom of the page (important). Be sure to change any bookmarks you have to point to the new one. Thanks to General Desruisseaux and to Alex Cuva for all the work in setting up the new area! Great job! The grayish background is a nice touch. It makes it look less "modern" as D.S. put it. |

So will the "original" post (in this case by Mallory) no longer stay at the top of the page? We then have to go in search for it. Anyway around that? I tried viewing the postings in the opposite order but then you end up reading posts no longer relevant. |

You knew what the thread was about and could read the most recent replies just below. |

It seems the only way to keep the Post header is to continuously Bump it up to the top after every posting. |

Well, I finally made it here in tolerably good shape, except for my avatar which is non-functional according to the program. But for the short amount of time that our guys had to make this conversion, they have done a remarkable job! My sincere compliments to them! There are two good tools: the font size changer at the top right of the thread page, and the order of display option at the bottom of the page, allowing either "ascending" or "descending" order options. |
