Good day gentleman,
want to do the last battles of Campaign Ozark before taking a break, so is there a skillful Confederate who wants to take Maj. Gen. Earl Van Dorn's place in his attempt to drive Brig. Gen. Curtis out of Arkansas?
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... _Ridge.png

Briefing:
(HISTORICAL) -- BATTLE OF PEA RIDGE, March 7-8, 1862 -- Facing the daunting Union fortifications at Little Sugar Creek, Confederate General Earl Van Dorn decided upon a daring and extremely risky plan. He would take his entire army and interpose it between the Union army and its line of communications. The Bentonville Detour sweeps to the west around the Union lines and to their rear at Cross Timber Hollow. An all-night forced march would have his men in position at the Hollow at dawn on the 7th. Unfortunately, fatigue and disorganization, combined with felled tree obstructions at both ends of the detour, scattered the army all along the road and when dawn came only the head of Price's column was in position. Nonetheless, Van Dorn was squarely in the enemy's rear. (Weather variant)

Game: Campaign Ozark patched to the latest version(2.01)
Scenario name: PR: The Battle of Pea Ridge, Mar 7-8,1862 (Historical) Weather rules
Scenario file name: 07b PR_Pea Ridge full_H_W.SCN
Turns: 94
Optional rules for high historical accuracy: https://i.imgur.com/KIwcqBh.jpg

Requirements:
Only requirements are that the scenario was not yet played by my opponent and that he won't study the scenario in detail by starting the scenario or loading it into the scenario editor.

Christian,

I am trying to get reinstated to the club. If you don't find any Reb opponents I would love to be your Van Dorn.

Ozark is my favorite Title, and I have long had a fascination with Pea Ridge.

Warmest Regards,

David

Sounds good but for now I still have some paperwork to finish and we should also give the Confederates some more time to respond, maybe one of the CSA officers will still volunteer although they seem to cherry-pick their battles more and more wisely as not to loose the war faster than they already do.

Thanks MG Siragusa, looking forward to our game.

@David Martin
We could start a smaller scenario from Ozark if you like, "The Battle of Newtonia, Sept 30, 1862 (Historical)" for example in the weather version from Old Banshee.

Seems my mails don't reach you, at least i got no message of delivery so I try it here:

Hi Paul,
who starts doesn't matter, the Union player can also set up everything and send the file over to the Confederate.
That you don't see any units likely means that you still miss the Banshee weather files.

Did you download this file? http://old-banshee.com/resources/Campai ... ariant.zip
And did you copy all the files into the folder where the game is installed?
The weather files have to end up side by side with the original files, if that is not the case the files are at the wrong spot.

Others had these troubles in the past and made a thread about it at the ACWGC, maybe it helps:
http://wargame.ch/board/acwgc/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20838

But in case the error is on my end I have started the game again and attached the new save file.
