Here are a couple of titles the group may find interesting, Guelzo's "Gettysburg", Rhea's "Spottsylvania...", Castel's "Decision in the West, the Atlanta Campaign" and for the more musically inclined, Stauffer & Soskis, "Battle Hymn of the Republic". This last one may be a bit longer than needed but provides some interesting information. I have read these over the two months. Additionally I'd recommend attending the Civil War Institute's symposium on 1865 next June. I attended the 1864 this year and they had a great schedule of speakers and tours. You can find information on the website on this year's and next. It is held at Gettysburg College, although nex tyear's will be split between Gettysburg and Richmond.

Somebody should start a "What Are You Reading Now?" thread ... Um, wait, you just did!

My current read: Chancellorsville, by Stephen W. Sears.

If you will look in the Board Index there is also a forum for talking about the books you are reading.
