At long last, Gordon Rhea has written the fifth (and final) volume of his excellent Overland Campaign series, dealing with the opening salvos in front of Petersburg. Due out shortly.

Enlighten us on the other 4 if you can.

I have recently concluded reading through the previous four volumes in the series. Excellent in every way. Looking forward to the fifth.

Last year, I read the first four, one after the other. It was an experience denied by any other method, showing the intensity and relentlessness of those few short weeks. The first four are "Battle of the Wilderness," "The Road to Spottsylvania and Yellow Tavern," "To the North Anna River," and "Cold Harbor." For several years, many have wondered whether or not Rhea would complete the series with a Petersburg installment. Ten years I believe.
