See the empty base in the screenie below. I believe the cause is that the OOB file has the 12lbr Howitzer units calling for the graphic on Line 22 of the 3D image file, and the file only goes to Line 20 (0 being the first line). It should be referencing Line 1 I believe.

The fact that this glitch still exists after so many years is perplexing because this shows up in several units over several scenarios. Is playing in 3D mode really that unpopular?

Not at all, but if the players are left without any target to point their feedback to things will stay like they are. The JTS forum was and likely will never be the hotspot that other publishers forums are, that and the fact that most of the CW designers are part of our club makes it so important to add a feedback section.

Tackling the problem as posted ... 1st off - this is clearly an OOB issue - the question is, which OOB is it? If it was one that was user created then it is not something that the company would support. I imagine this one probably is one -but if you could list which one that it is? Probably PM John Ferry on this -as I think he is doing most of the OOB work.

There isn't any official JTS board; the best place to report this would always be the JTS support contact on their site. It is more about getting to the right people.

No, it's the stock OOB's; Jackson.oob in this case although there may be others in this release. I'll send a note to JTS support, although my post was mainly to spark a discussion as to why this surfaced only after 11 years on the market. Anyway I fixed it for myself by modifying the graphics file.

Incidentally, the Banshee unit graphic mods are nerfed for Vicksburg as well, but since I'm on that team I'll address that internally.

JTS Support aka Rich Hamilton will always let the appropriate staff person know of glitches such as this.
I'm on it. BTW, there are now 25 artillery 3D lines, as of Petersburg. Lots of changes coming.
