That "Grand Tactician: The Civil War (1861-1865)" looks damned interesting, if it keeps what video & screenshots and especially the webpage(http://www.grandtactician.com/thecivilwar/index.html) promise it will be a splendid addition to the pool of CW games.

Grand Tactician I am looking forward too. It has some interesting features.

Brother Against Brother is probably the best tactical regiment level game made for the Civil War. It just didn't attract enough buyers to support the game. Using First Manassas as their main battle scenario didn't leave it enough replay to keep the small customer base playing.

War of Rights can be played now in Alpha. If you want a first person shooter where you are a soldier in a company, it is the game for you. It feels more like you are in a reenactment than a game.

Ultimate General is fun to play around with. But since you can only play against the AI it has its limits. They do have a full war campaign where you get to build up your own troops and battle experience to win the game.

Thanks for the link, Christian!

Signed up for the updates. Looking to get this one.

Also have Ultimate General: Civil War

Was looking to get Brother-against-Brother but it's too expensive and no longer supported by the developers.

Wish HPS/JTS would keep up with improvements. Pretty soon they will get surpassed and their long glorious run will be over. Not sure if the Club will survive either.

Love the Club and our games but they are on the decline and only the same-old, same-old repeats of each other. :(

Well the latest JTS updates for the CW series give us breathing room.
Once the series is officially finished we hopefully get full access to things like the map editor, then all the empty spots can be filled what surely give new live to the club.
