Yes. I agree with all of you, sirs. As General Mihalik already pointed out, and General Seidl, the last part was, "Rally behind the Virginian's!" I guess that could be construed as saying that the Virginians were not coming to their aid and therefore they had to rally behind them, but everyone who has studied the battle knows that Jackson was using the defense of Henry Hill to his advantage. If he would have advanced to his aid, he would have lost his defensive advantage. It was a recent shock to me as well when I read it. Never had heard that theory before.
