Has anyone heard from him lately? I know he was having computer problems, but that was about 6 months ago.

He's still having problems - needs to buy a new system, but that may take some time (I believe to get the funds together).

Thanks Sean, good to know. He's a great opponent and plays almost every day. This absence has to be killing him!! I know I miss playing him.

Crafty indeed. When I joined the club 2 years ago, he was one of the first rebs I played. Our first (of many) was Champion Hill. I had my arty set up and was hammering his right flank. He had hidden a couple of large cav units and came out of nowhere and captured my arty!! I nicknamed that "getting Vannadad". I learned well and use the "Vannada manuever" when ever possible. Even against the old fox when I can!!
