Claude - Please set a table up for all the fellers here in the Army of Alabama. The occasion you ask - well Suh - We are here to welcome Fld. Lt. Bill Schmitt, and to see if he can last as long as us ole warriors we have around here. Why I have been shot so many times I can drink a whole barrelful of your best hooch 'cause it just runs out of the holes in my hinder parts. Oh Yes, Y'all - I lead from the REAR.

Thank you for the warm welcome, I am proud to be among the finest of the Confederate Army. I assure you General Pinkham I can last, I am a professional drinker. I might add none leaks out yet but I’m sure it will at some point in time.

Claude the first round is on me, gentlemen I brought cigars for all help yourself and let us drink to the Army of Alabama the finest Confederate Army.

:wink: If I might trouble You for the name of the section commander in charge of procuring these new-fangled devicesI think I'll requisition a couple for my raids out West . . . . too many trees out there . . . . I hate Trees almost as much as I hate the blue cowards hiding behind 'em!!! :lol:

The party was in full swing and the drinks aplenty... beer and whiskey kept coming to the tables as other officers threw up their money to buy.

The cigars were gone and the room filled with it’s smoke, song after song was sung by all...

I Wish I Was In Dixie, Goober Peas, Yellow Rose of Texas, God Save The South and others. An officer stood on a table raising his glass...

"Victory will be ours... drink up lads to the south."
