*pours drink from almost empty bottle*
Gents, just an observation...but I've seen precious few grey backs in the Tavern as of late. Did we really drive them all back to mom and wife????
General Meadows is here and a few others...but the ranks have definitely thinned. Even the ones that frequented here dont seem to show up anymore.
*drains glass and empties bottle into glass*
Ah well. Guess that means more liquor for us....right?
Bartender....another bottle, please!

My fellow Confederates are out quite often with wives.

I won't say whose wives but they are out.

My wife has learned to use a gun... so here I sit. Never should have taught her to shoot.

Ahhh. Well...that explains a lot, General. A swap meet, huh?
Might I suggest bending your wife's front sight? Should put you well out of sight before she can reload. Dont ask me how I know this.
May I fill up your glass?

Please do, sir.

You know.... (looking around to make sure no higher ranking officers are around) ... if we really wanted to start some trouble we should suggest dividing the Club between Yanks and Rebs and then meeting on some street corner like the Jets and Sharks. You Yanks take chains we will take bricks. We can settle the whole thing in an afternoon. After you are defeated we will be sure to honor your memory with a good stiff drink or two before rolling your corpses into the sewers for Pennywise.

What's in this drink anyways?

*drains glass and refills it again*
This...*coughs*...is called a Snakebite.
It's an idea, sir, it's an idea. However, you are assuming that we could get all the Rebs together. THEY DONT EVEN SHOW UP HERE FOR FREE LIQUOR ! I don't think they will show up for a chance to be brained with a chain.
Damn! The bottles empty again.

Sorry Gents I have been away whipping Yanks, as well as fighting a few battles. I was some 20 miles away when I am sure I heard the word free drinks, so I have arrived, with my drinking boots on. Now lets have a tot or 15 of the Snake Bite and then move on to something a bit stronger.

Speak of the devil and he shall appear! Free liquor brings them out like ants at a picnic! Lovely pair of drinking boots
you have there, sir.
Here. *passes a bottle*
You're a few chugs behind.

I stole my drinking boots from some dying congressman whos carriage had flipped near the First Manassas. I also rescued his lovely daughter, however I dumped her when I found his extensive liquor supply

Gentleman
Bar keep pour a drink for everyone.
I have a question? I just graduated from the UMA. Did we crush the rebellion while I was in the Academy or did they retire of old age because I have only seen one live Reb since graduating. LOL!
Bar Keep another round!!

Lieutenant...its a pleasure to have you in our ranks! Care for a cigar? As General Meadows pointed out, their...um..."extracurricular" activites keep them pretty busy.
All war and no play makes those Johnnie's a bad lot.

Sir
A Cigar sounds good. Nothing like a good cigar and and a good drink!
Bar Keep another round and give any reb that can find his way in a drink too!

My pleasure, sir. Careful! If the word gets out there are free drinks to all Rebs, we could be broke shortly.
*lights a fine, robust cigar, and throws back another glass *
Lieutenant, have you noticed General Meadows teeth? They remind you of the stars, don't they? The stars, yes...in the fact that they come out at night.
General McOmish, General Meadows, Lieutenant Newell...I suggest we get a stronger elixir...something short of paint thinner. Cheers, my good sirs!
