I used the Alternate.pdt file for a Bladensburg scenario against the AI. The only quirk was that the Alternate.pdt file as shipped on the disk had no line for Congreve Rockets, so when I tried to fire one, I got the message "Range of weapon exceeded by X hexes," X being the total range to the target. No <i>Rockets' Red Glare?!</i> This was quickly remedied by copying the Congreve data into the file, and it worked great. Best of all is bringing a company in line up against an enemy flank at one-hex range and blazing away...but a live opponent will be less prone to allow that to happen!

Hi Bill,

That was fixed in the 1.01 or 1.02 patch...either way, just download the latest patch from the HPS site and you will have the correct info. I think I missed 1 or 2 other weapon types on the fist round too <img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>, but all are included now. <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
