I'm having trouble trying to attach my move to my E-mail.
I open up my opponent's note...
I hit Reply...
then Attachments...
I call up my file from the ZIP directory---
But then what?
Exactly how do I attach it?
I've tried to drag and drop, but that doesn't work.
Thank you for any help anyone can give.
Tom

Tom,
Try replying, then from the insert menu choose "file attachment", (or click the attach menu button), go to the appropriate directory, then double click your zipped saved game file. It should then show up on a new bottom header line of your email called "attach:". Hit Send and that should do it, if your using Outlook Express 5.50 or earlier.

Phil,
I'm using AOL & my opponent is as well.
When I double-click on my Zip file (after hitting attachments) it opens a temporary file. ???
I hope someone with AOL may be able to help.
My trainer has been helping greatly with a number of things.
I am trying to avoid bugging him with what is probably a simple solution. :)
Thanks,

T. Boyce

If your trainer is also using AOL, by all means let him know of your problem Tom. All the trainers for both sides have graciously volunteered for this very purpose, and I'm positive yours would be glad to help you. No question is too basic.

I E-mailed my trainer explaining the problem.
In the mean time maybe someone here can walk me through the process.
I actually sent my first move successfully.
I just can't remember exactly how I did it.
So I'm not a total idiot...just an absent-minded one. :)

I tried something different, and I think it may have worked.
I dragged & dropped my Zip file to my desktop and then attached it from there.
I'm not sure if it worked but I should know soon because my trainer checks his E-mail on a regular basis.
