Gentlemen, please have a look at the Award Center. Six shiny new battlefield medals have been awarded, and in stark contrast to the last series of awards, this time five of them go to the Gentlemen on the Colonial side. Raise your glasses in honor of the recipients. Cheers!

Question.

How can just one player get an award? For example, Sam got a medal for a special battlefield game. Did he play against the computer to get this?

I think before a player is awarded his opponent should be noted so they both get the award at the same time.

Al, only the victor gets the award. Otherwise I would have a lot of them!

Can you please list the new recipients here or maybe on the main awards page each time you assign them?

Thank you Sir.

Amendments:

Stefan Reuter earns a Brandywine medal (I add this here to shift the balance a little bit in our favor )

I apologize for mispelling William Rodes' name. It has been corrected on the medal pages.

BTW, does anyone besides the RNAC and the American 1812 Irregulars use the medal ribbons on their pages?

I proudly display mine at the 1st Foot Guards HQ. The British Actives page also lists number of awards, but not very graphically.

Hey, my colors are really looking good on your background!
BTW, I always add an alternate text to the ribbons on the RNAC start page - when you touch them with the mouse, you learn what kind of ribbon it is ... not everyone has the ribbon chart on his desktop!

good idea but as you can see with my signature, I'm still learning how to get things to display! Phil, you use Angelfire, how did you get it to display?

Al,

Follow the example below, but take out all the asterisks and substitute where your pic should point to first, and your pic's exact location second. Check the FAQ for details.

Phil,

I had mine setup exactly the way you do. I did notice you have a gif and I was trying to use a jpg.

I've changed over, so let's see if it works.
