Now hear dis ya lousy stinkin commies, I iz gonna kick yer behind all da way back ta ...
huh, what?? wrong Reds?? Urgh

Flips through the pages of his book "Trash Talking for Dummies

The time has come for you foul redcoats to face your doom against the righteous forces of freedom. You may have done well against against the corrupt forces of the Corsican Ogre, but there is no way that your lobsterbacks, drafted from the dregs of the offspring of the brothels of London can stand up against Free Men, brave and true.

I seek a British commander of approximiate rank to visit the sword of righteousness upon.

Lt Walter, by the way, rest assured, that while I do not have the rank to challenge you yet, I will keep your comments about my family in mind , so that when the time comes I can show you how a gentleman comports himself, a notion you are surely unfamiliar with.

[ok, On to the details. Looking for an Englishman in 1812 (only, don't have 1776 yet). ADF on, otherwise we can discuss the details of optional rules and the like. Hope to hear from you.]

You pretend that your uncultured colonial ruffians represent "The righteous forces of freedom", yet what kind of "freedom" do you advocate? Freedom to own slaves, like that old hypocrite Mr Washington? Freedom to invade another country without any justification beyond sheer greed? Freedom to conduct a series of vicious campaigns of terror and genocide against the unfortunate native inhabitants of America? Enough of such perverted "freedoms"!

Although unfamilar with 1812 - which I've only recently purchased - I'm ready and willing to curb any such pretentious colonial attempts to impose their unique brand of "freedom" on Canada and His Majesty's native American allies.

Regular White,
At least we are not at the whims of some monarch who spends as much time in the midst of fits as he does being coherent, though at least when he is in fits he's not trampling on the rights of men. You speak of not owning slaves, yet you have no problem dragging free men off onto the slavery that is your beloved Royal Navy. It was bad enough that you would do that in your own brothels and taverns, but in your hunger for men to serve your wicked cause you sieze good men, brave and true from their right place as free men on United States ships.

And as to our invasion of Canada, without dwelling on the many and manifest reasons for such action, including your refusal to follow the terms of our glorious victory in the Revolution, but you cast stones at yourself. Go to the slums of Calcutta and ask if they wish to be subjects of your mad king.

Rest assured good sir that my messenger is on his way to you, so that we may make arrangements for an appropriate battle.

I was under the impression that the inhabitants of our dominions in the East were subjects of the Honourable Company, not of His Majesty ... but how could one of those pathetic illiterate backwood peasants who fail to see the wisdom of returning under the rule of their rightful sovereign, even if that involves paying their taxes, and instead continue their pointless rebellion against the mighty British Empire be expected to understand such subtleties ...
Pvt. McClellan, it was not my intention to insult your family, however, how could I know that you were indeed related to Little Mac? You are of course entitled to demand satisfaction, now or later - I am at your disposal. Feel free to chose the field on which you prefer to be buried and I will be there.

Lt Walter, I fear that for the time being I shall be too busy dueling with Regular White for me to deal with you immediately, however I appreciate your willingness to fight, and in due time, such a fight shall come I trust.

And, yet another reason we will prevail. These English Pigdog officers aren't even capable of communicating with one another. Frankly, I find it amazing the Welsh haven't taken the place over.

We don't have to. That's the beauty about a professional army, you just put in the field, point it in the general direction - and it works. The sneaking and ambushing, and all those things you do when you pretend to fight a war, that's what would need communication ... and anyway you need not be surprised that it doesn't work.

Come to think about, at least this here Colonial Yankee Rebel is pretty good at communicating ... wonder whether he can fight, too! Ah, wait, we've been down that road before and he dogded the challange ... no more word.
Anyway, Pvt., once you have grown up and are an officer and have learned to respect a Gentleman, even if he wears a red coat, than I'll contact you again and show you the way out of Canada ... or back under the caring rule of His Majesty (provided you have 1776 by then, that is).
Fear the King and pay your taxes!

Giving that scarlet clad batch of mongrels the title "professional" is an affront to the language.

A pack of the refuse of the London gutters, led by self-indulgent 2nd sons who rely on Daddy's gold for promotion. They fight for the King's Shilling, instead of their nation, they are as much mercenary as the hated Hessians your monarch hired in the Revolution.

Seems to me a professional is someone who has learned a trade and is rewarded for practicing it. Hope the good old language is not too offended by my righteous use of this word.

I accept "self-indulgent", but I am no second son! I am the firstborn, Sir! Also, I didn't need Daddy's gold - I have risen from the ranks! Once I was proud to call myself a Sergeant - ask Gen. Natta, I almost challenged him for a duel for calling me "Mr."

You can rely on your brave volunteers from the backwoods - if you prefer to have them discuss instead of obey an order, and go home once the army is leaving their home county Ask someone who has tried to contest the British possession of Queenston - your militia rabble just refuses to cross the border there! If you are going to found your empire of freedom with the help of such people, well, good luck!
