"(I'll reserve Lady until I'm acknowledged to be your Soverign)"

Blasphemy heaped upon blasphemy Major Amos! The only thing I'll recognize you for is being a traitor to YOUR lawful Sovereign. (and a decent enough commander perhaps)

"As for being beaten by a lady it is as my dad always said, you can't win when fighting a lady. For if you do win, you have nothing to brag about."

A hearty "touche!" to your wise father! It's unfortunate though that you consider the trappings of a proper gentlemen officer to be those held by the opposite persuasion. The distinction is obviously lost on you, and you have my deepest sympathy in this matter sir.

"...and for those reader's out there, Phil's army is still thinking twice about what another 30 minutes in the snows at Germantown would have brought."

Oh I suppose it would have brought me a few more gnarly ruffians to imprison, or perhaps a bad cold eh? But you do have a valid point sir, my laddies do tend to get a bit lackadaisical after they've mauled the enemy so early on in a battle.

Sir Phil,

...and my troops seem to be a bit lackadaisical and get mauled early in battle...

By jingo I'm away for a few days and the sneaky Brits are trying to pinch me lads.. lovely little banter there Al and 'Lady' Natta (maybe that's why we haven't seen a picture of the Natty one yet..)

Anyhow, lots of lovely promotions coming up - now does any British officer fancy a game, and Phil - save me the last dance on your card eh?

David, the simple fact is - the British never know when they are beat! Another way of looking at this is that they are tired of fighting us so they are trying to pull more of our members onto their side! Or ..
Could it be that we cook better? Or ..
Do Colonials know how to steer sleighs better? Or ..
Is it that Brits are tired of fighting the war and wish to leave the fighting to us?

To be beaten? What's that? Must be a colonial concept I don't know this feeling
