The British regular overlooking the border between His Majesty's loyal dominions and the rebellious colonies turns to his comrade and asks: "Wasn't there a rumour that these colonists wanted to invade Canada?" - "I heard it, too," the other redcoat replies, with a sad look on his face, speaking immense boredom. "But I have been waiting here for a week and have not seen a sign of any enemy action. I hear the only people they get to fight in this war are Indian warriors and French mercenaries." - "Well, I can understand this rabble dare not take on His Majesty's army," says the first. With a heavy heart, both officers decide there is no point in waiting any longer. Disillusioned, they march their troops back to the town and agree to engage in a friendly maneuver next morning, lest they die of boredom ... <font color=blue>Lt. And just as they turn, a shot rang out...and moments later a musket ball whizzes by their heads.
