Gents,

In some of our continued plans to do little things here or there with the websites, the Continental American Army site got some small edits with extra images. Each brigade now has a historical leader from the various wars associated with it. I generally tried to find people who made sense, either in having commanded a unit that is a part of the brigade or having hailed from the state where the units are from.

First Division:

The Division Commander image is of the Baron von Steuben.

Advance Guard - Casimir Pulaski

New York - New Jersey Regulars Brigade - Horatio Gates

Lexington & Concord Militia Brigade - Artemas Ward

1st Militia Brigade - Daniel Morgan

Continental Light Dragoons Brigade - Charles Armand Tuffin

1st (Knox's) Continental Artillery Brigade - Henry Knox

Second Division:

The Division Commander image is of Nathanael Greene.

Greene's Brigade - William Moultrie

New England Brigade - Benjamin Lincoln

Maryland Brigade - William Smallwood

Pennsylvania Brigade - Peter Muhlenberg

2nd Militia Brigade - Arthur St. Clair

2nd Continental Artillery Brigade - Tadeusz Kościuszko

Reserve Division:

The Reserve Division has Winfield Scott as the Division Commander image already. I also added a Marine Brigade too.

United States Dragoons Brigade - Samuel Smith

1st United States Regulars Brigade - Jacob Jennings Brown

2nd United States Regulars Brigade - William Henry Harrison

State Volunteers Brigade - Zachary Taylor

Marines - Archibald Henderson

You can see them here at the individual division pages:

Phil Wilson & Lucas Kling both signed off on the project last fall and I have finally had time to devote to it. I think it adds just a little extra eye candy and fun to the site, as well as celebrates the famous commanders of the various wars. I thought it important too, to recognize the very key, but often overlooked foreign officers who served in the Continental American Army .

Also, it makes another force, besides the British here in the Club, that have leader images at all the major commands.

Hope all enjoy!! 8)
