What, in Heaven's name is all this fuss about 4 July?! "Independence Day" and all that? More like "In Direct Violation of the King's Authority Day" I say by Jove! Fireworks, burnt meat, ale swilling, congregating and plotting against the Crown...all punishable in the extreme you know. But, Master Bartholemew and I will make an exception to your unauthorized celebrating just for this year. Perhaps, just perhaps, this single act of generous mercy will have a positive impact on all you rebellious scalawags in the future. That said, everyone have a jolly good time and stay safe!

261 years ago George Washington lost his first battle at the Great Meadows defending Ft. Necessity. He was an Englishman at the time. Fast forward 22 years with he's in charge of an army of a new nation! If at first you don't succeed try, try again. Something he a Lincoln had in common.

By His Most Britannic Majesty, by the Grace of God, of the Kingdoms of Great Britain, France and Ireland, Ruler of the Provincial and Colonial Dominion in British America and the British West Indies and of Our other Realms and Territories, King Defender of the Faith,

and His Excellency, Field Marshal & Commander-in-Chief The Viscount Ludwig of Lexington, OSM, His Most Britannic Majesty's British Armies in America

To all Lords Spiritual and Temporal and all other Our Subjects whatsoever to whom these Presents shall come Greetings:

The cessation of your one day celebration called this "4th of July" has ended! It is now July 10th and your duties & taxes owed to the King are due for the month. Soldiers of His Most Britannic Majesty's British Armies in America will be coming around to collect the revenue. Please make sure that all monies owed are ready to be paid. If you are short of the amount, please provide all your silver service to them. If nothing is produced at all, well let's just say there are some fiercesome fellows we've hired for service in the Creek Nation, amongst others, for enforcement! :D

So pay your taxes!!

Done by my hand this 10th day of July at Kingston

Ludwig

WITNESS Ourself at the Court of St. James, the 10th day of July of the current year,
