I am sure a lot ppl don't know him but he is every bit as important to the British victory as General Amherst was

Reading Empire of the Summer Moon about the Commanches and how their mastery of the horse changed them from a low level tribe to the most dominant. Best fighters from the horse the world has seen one could argue.

Overall yes, he jumps around a bit, but easy to read, Author is S.C Gwynne. He also has a book on Stonewall Jackson

Hehehe - ok so I missed a few things over the years -- got nothing on Tarleton, but ...

I got at least 3 on Benedict Arnold, a couple on Washington, Chernow's on Hamilton (the checkout chick was really excited because she was going to see the show ... I was like, well I'm sure it's good but well, yeh I probably won't be :) .... and let's see a couple on Nathanael Greene.

I'll dig out the formal titles, and authors at some point soon; maybe after Xmas (might have some to add to it then anyways).

One site that I have gone to a bit recently, and it can be hit and miss (the first entry that I read was pretty amateurish and basically awful, but the second one -- by the author of 'The Quaker and the Gamecock' was pretty good - is https://allthingsliberty.com/

Journal of the American Revolution.

I want to get bios for Knox, Lafayette, Turncoat (another one on Benedict Arnold), Marion ... well we'll see ---

At the moment I am reading Leckie's single volume -nearly done (I guess as a starting point) ...
