Medium- Largish 40-80 turns

2-3 turns a week until completion. Very flexible on rules, but they should be pretty liberal and not be 3 paragraphs long.

Would be nice to work as a team with a more experienced player.

I have:
Waterloo
1814
Leipzig
Bautzen
Peninsula
Marengo

I would take a part too, Herr General-major. I adore MP games. :frenchwink:
I have all items from your arsenal. Waterloo and Leipzig - these ones are boring already.
Marengo, Bautzen and Peninsular are much preferable. Plus Republican campaigns on the Rhine, of course.
Also, 1806 Jena-Auerstadt campaign mod has a lot of great scenarios for MP, believe me.

I know at least 2 more Russian officers are ready to play MP game, Herr General - Major. :russianveryhappy:
But the French opponents are the big deficit now.
Frenches, where are you? :sly:

I would like to try an MP game, if anyone would have me. I have no idea how it's done, so would need a little help there. I'm in the KGL, but would happily play as French, though not alone - subordinate to someone who knows what they're doing, preferably. I would rate myself as inexperienced. I've played around 25+ H2H games, and won very few. Some are posted over on The Blitz, but mostly I haven't done the ladders. I'm in Belgium, Europe (for time zone purposes). I have all the listed games save 1814, but could buy that easily enough. I also have RBR, NRC and Austerlitz.

Thanks.

Hi Peter, you're greatly welcomed! :frenchsalute:

We need one more officer, at least. It's not a problem. I could involve a someone from my Corps.

The first of all: which is your preference in sense what to play?
You both have the good game arsenal.
As I have noted above, I prefer a something new enough (Marengo, RBR, Peninsular).

The specific of MP game: a scenario supposed to be not too long (for we could finish 3/4, or at least 1/2 of all turns);
it supposed to have enough troops for both teams - at least 4 participants; it supposed to have the pretty wide range for maneuvering and not flat landscape (for a game process could be the really initiative interesting but not a stupid carnage a-la "wall-to-wall").
From the three mentioned ones above, the Battle of Hohenlinden / RBR is the most preferable, on my opinion.
Check it, please.

Your suggestions, gentlemen officers?

Thanks for the welcome. I too prefer the newer titles, because the maps have more detail, especially RBR and Marengo. More chance of 4 sides in RBR, perhaps. Hohenlinden sounds good, though a variant, no? The historical battle isn't so balanced, I believe? I am happy to go with whatever those more experienced suggest.

Thanks.

Scenario #187. Hohenlinden is the best, I reckon. It is historical the first of all.
Strengths of sides are same in all scenarios except for the small of 12-turns.

Of The Italian Campaigns, I guess, 089. Macdonald and Jubert at Novi (1799 campaign) is the best for MP game.

Herr Generalmajor, what do you think about?

Or 186 - same scenario but with snow graphics to match the snowy weather?

Novi looks good too.

So, gentlemen, I have a partner to play for the Allied side. :frenchwink: :russianveryhappy: :revenge: :displeased:

As Mike has not a copy of RBR, let's play the Italy Campaigns/089_Novi-1799CAMP-HTH.scn (MacDonald and Joubert at Novi). Peter, send a contact link to me with your ORs preferences asap on vladimir1812@gmail.com . Mike's address is acquaintance to me.
Thank you.

Gentlemen officers, fall in! :frenchvive:

Bongiorno, Don Giovanni!

Which games do you have in your arsenal, which one do you wish to play as MP game? :sly:
