For a big battle off RBR or Eylau. Rules are negotiable but I prefer historical house rules if used, I don't use blitzty tactics and want a like minded opponent. :frenchvive: :frenchvive:

Blitzy tactics wouldn't fit in too well with this period anyway .... ;)

I attack your line with one attack, make a hole because an infantry unit in column retreated having the head of the column turned so that it no longer projects a ZOC and then I run units through the breach to attack other units.

Some people use what they call "Embedded Melee" which really is a poor term for the rule. Its not "embedded" in the program but its that you make as many moves as you would like to do in what is termed "the first movement segment" and then you do ALL melees in any order and THEN you can make a second move with any units that did not move in the first movement segment. Then your turn is over. The exception is skirmishers which can always be moved out of the way unless they are in hard cover (not woods or orchards but villages, buildings or chateau).

"...historical house rules..."?!
Oh, my lord, with that you may go to me certainly!
I always play with the Realism&Historicity House Rules and reject fixedly all those tricks like ZOC-kills and Blitzkrieg.
Contact me on vladimir1812@gmail.com

I would like to play the whole 1806 Eylau Campaign.

Thank you.

Votre serviteur,
