Not quite a book, but figured it'd go here well enough. Saw this guy while cruising the internet.

The sites are in Spanish, I think, and I can understand some of it, but not all of it. Still some really, really beautiful paintings. Some Napoleonic, but not all. From Napoleonic through modern times. A lot in the Victorian period:

A great artist Scott!
He painted many pictures of the Carlist wars, but also from other epochs, including the Napoleonic.

Wonderful Thank You for sharing.
Nieto is the precursor to the neo-realism movement later, during WWI and WWII in film and
art and literature...those people in the painting could easily trot their horses out of
the picture and into my living room. :D

would you mind if I posted the Nieto link elsewhere ?
