I don't know if you remember this excellent article about the map of BG PTW

http://www.napoleon-series.org/military ... c_ptw.html

by Hans Boersma (I am not sure if Hans is still part of NWC)

Comte Ferraris was the man responsible for mapping most of the region we love to fight on. His finished work is available online here:
http://www.ngi.be/FR/FR1-4-2-3.shtm
(I don't think the site has an option for English). It's easy to navigate. You just need to click on the map you want to look at and the name of the map will appear as a link under Resultats and an new window appears and you can crop to the level you want (incredible details).

The maps covering the battle of Quatre Bras are 79 (right lower corner), 80 (right upper corner) and 96 (left lower corner) and 97 (left upper corner)
If you have a look at the area you will see how beautiful are the maps.
An example here:

We can see that Quatre Bras was called Les Trois Bras and it was a cabaret!

Awesome maps David, although the hills remind me a bit of a Rorschach test. :D

I think I failed.

Contemporary maps are frustrating to use as they are more stylized than accurate. But they sure do allow you to find those landmarks that are needed on our maps.

This set from 1777 is nice. Wonder if Charlie or Rich used this set to build the maps in Campaign Waterloo?

I am wondering too.

I have been studying lately the battlefield and... I don't think they used this map.

For example the stream should stop at Grand Pierrepont:

One set of maps I would like to see are those from De Bas & De Wommersom.

Actually, seeing how water is quite unlikely to run along the crest of a hill, I'd say these are hollows rather than hills. But you're sure right about their looks. :D
