I have surgery on November 17 for my hernia followed by 6 weeks of very light activity. Unemployment did not accept my claim due to the usual red tape so I have to resubmit it. Thus I have no funds for November rent so far. Slitherine Ltd. royalties did not amount to enough to pay me so I struck out there too.

However, I appreciate the generous help I received from members here this past month. I am looking at another 2-3 months of inactivity .. but I could get a desk job with light lifting only. I will be looking for work throughout this period and will keep you posted.

I have yet to receive unemployment benefits but will keep you posted on that too. I sent in the first two weeks' claim form along with my job search info. My former employer submitted my pay stubs but Unemployment did not accept them for some reason.

Oh well its pain and its life ... just have to grind it out. Hoping that unemployment kicks in and I can continue to keep this room. Its one of the cheapest rates I will find in the LA area ($400/mo.). I could not do any better ...

If you already have an PAYPAL account, linked to your bank, etc, then the process is very easy.

Log into your PAYPAL account and select (at the top) PAY OR SEND MONEY.

And follow the prompts.
