You can find the new AGEOD: Wars of Napoleon game available from the Matrix site here:

http://www.matrixgames.com/products/593/details/Wars.of.Napoleon

For you WW2 buffs there is also an expansion out for Gary Grigsby's War in the West which covers the North Africa ('42-'43) and Southern France ('44) campaigns too.

Nice to see Operation Dragoon done somewhere.

I would have loved doing it for Panzer Campaign.

Don't let you stop by that title, I find the new GG series rather "rough", just too long turns, too big hexes, no replay(how silly is that for a strategy game).
If they one day put it together for one big WW2 game it might work out but the small scenarios that are depicted are not covered in the detail that they deserve, I wouldn't mind to see a game about operation Dragoon, if the maps would be made big enough they could also be used for a scenario that covers the 1940 Italian offensive again France..

David - Dragoon all the way to the Rhine ... suggested it to Glenn long ago. Since they were willing to do a game like Sealion or the AGC titles I figured it would fly.

Same idea on my side... but after Tunisia 43, I didn't plan to do anything with Glenn.

Was it so problematic?

No it's just that I was not part of the project anymore. So no more games.

I don't even know how actively involved Glenn is anymore. He seems pretty into his career in CFL officiating - I believe he works Calgary Stampeders games as one of the sidelines officials.

Maybe D Freer might know something -but, he seems pretty busy focusing on the Panzer Battles' series.

First off, I have played around with the new game a little bit and will be starting a PBEM soon to see if the 2 player pbem works or if you need 8! I got a few months through the grand campaign and it plays a lot like AGEOD's other games. The AI is competent but still does some dumb stuff (largely putting large forces into a fortress instead of running away...etc)..

Second, on the Blitz there was a good discussion about next PZC games---Strela's team is focused on Panzer Battles, another guy/team started a PZC but seems to maybe have moved on, and another thread talks about another WWI game (likely Galicia 1914) being heavily worked on..

That thread was what I was referring to I think ... however I took that to mean backburner -as there are only so many guys working on things. Fwiw, I think Tiller said as much in that video interview he did awhile ago ... that PzB sold pretty well -and assuming that to be the case it would make sense to give priority to that series if it involves the same basic group of scenario designers.

The point was more along the lines of I think Glenn is probably focused elsewhere.
