I don't know if anyone knows of this site
emporerslibrary.com
I received my disk today and I have just a quick look as I was a little busy and I am impressed at what I have received and for the cost at £12.00 and free delivery worldwide and anyone wanting information on uniforms of the period and maps of the battles it is a definite must have.

There are 4000 uniform plates plus 800 maps and they cover from 1789 to 1816 and also covers the war of 1812 including uniforms and battle maps.

There are 5 other titles in the Napoleonic series as well as other periods of history.

I will certainly be buying the other 5 very soon.

Too bad there are no small excerpts from any of these to check out the quality of the content.

Ernie your right and I'm already on it as I have asked if I can post a dozen samples on here and I have also asked for samples from the other titles and I will post them. Even though I purchased the disk, I am not sure how I stand posting them publicly without permission, so always best to ask.

Yes it is very important to ask as it saves problems later on.

This is but a drop in the ocean as there are over 2800 uniform depictions, of Russian 277, Turkish 105, Danish 96, French 1200+, Holland 39, Poland 68, Prussia 240, Austria 145, Knights of Malta 10, Italian 32, Swiss 15, Spain 81, USA 2, Sweden 22. Plus the German States: Baden 26, Bavaria 198, Brunswick 6, Cleve-Berg + Berg 5, Frankfurt 11, Hanseatic 10, Hessen Darmstadt 39, Hessen Kassel 7, Lippe 3, Mecklenburg 6, Nassau 4, Saxon Duchy's 9, Saxony 91, Weimar 5,Westphalia 41, Wurtemburg 45, Wurzberg 5, plus a mixed assortment of 27.
There is 118 French Military Music.
Plus the Manuscript of Freyburg which is in my opinion an excellent source of information for anyone modelling in a larger scale the French army as it depicts various details from Flags to Horses to equipment and has pics of soldiers as well and also has if I am right by saying as it is in French, a cost and description of equipment for each type of unit.
There are also 800 maps, from campaign maps to battle maps.
There are other stuff as well which I have not had time to go through, so in whole an excellent source of information.

Turns out this guy, Paul Cordell used to play the Battleground games series a long time ago. I have also been informed that he is working on another release but this one will be Napoloeonic Naval Themed. He has over 1200 Napoleonic titles so will be putting those into themes if possible on future disks.
