Some good news - my Sciatica is starting to head into remission. I still need surgery for my hernia and I am going to make another appt. to see the VA surgery team.

I have had a head cold/sore throat over the weekend. Hoping that it will break by Tuesday.

Landlord is having me oversee the property when he is in Mexico. He is giving me a $100 reduction on the rent when he is out of town. Rent will be $300. A real blessing.

Work on game projects continues albeit at a slower pace.

Getting around is a bit hard with the Sciatica and hernia. Just taking my time to get to the market or getting a ride when I can.

Glad to hear the Sciatica is starting to give way, that's one that can really wear you down when it is so constant. You got "the plague" too that has been going around....a lot of people I know did. Got over it myself the other week.

Hopefully things will continue to get better for you Bill! :thumbsup:

This cold has been like a nightmare out of your know where. I cant remember being so mentally disoriented by a head cold. Nights are almost impossible. I dont remember sleeping much last night. First night without Nyquil. Didn't help that the neighbors have a barking dog ROFL

Our house has settled down. In January the owner's son went off and busted up the front of the house, barricaded his dad into his room, etc. Police came after I called and took him away. Several arrests later and a restraining order said son is now up with his uncle in Fresno.

The folks that now rent the entire front four rooms of the house own a local restaurant within walking distance. I hope they stay as that would be good for the owner.

Sweet couple that was next to me when I was in the laundry room now have moved to the other larger room in the guest house next to me. I love families vs. singles so this works. I hope eventually they can get their own place but for now they are happy here.

Creaking along on 5 out of 8 cylinders but still going ;)

Wanted to post a short update: got funds from two members at the end of March - really helped guys! Total received: $255 for April.

Also: I am getting my food stamps again. It will be active starting tomorrow afternoon. They are giving me the full benefit again. The lady was so nice to talk with. Definitely made my day. :)
