has anyone heard about HPS no longer updating the Tiller games?

I read this somewhere........can't remember where.

Does anyone have any info on this?

I checked the Tiller site and ......nothing there on this.

One place where it is - is on the Blitz, and was in a thread that specifically referenced France '14. The reply was by Rich Hamilton there.

http://www.theblitz.org/message_boards/ ... 739&page=6

If it isn't on page 6 then it should probably be on page 5.

Rich's post applied to everything done by Tiller for HPS, although I also saw on another club's board where they seemed to still be confused about that the Ancients series published by HPS was a Tiller project. It wasn't so what Rich wrote does not apply to the Ancients series published (and still active afaik) by HPS.

thanks

that is the note I read.

I did not see it on that site.

must have been on facebook.

I bought my games (HPS) on NWS online gaming store.

If and when JTS puts up an update, I guess I can just take a picture of my disk and email that.

Thanks again for your help.

It might have been on FB too, I know that I had posted it on the SDC FB page -I knew about the policy for awhile, but had really wanted Rich's statement as that is basically the company saying it - not some guy running a website knowing what the company told (me) and then reposting it... has more weight that way.

I assume what you are talking about would work, but if you ever have any questions on it, don't hesitate to contact Rich directly at the support email address.

I will say this is long overdue for both Rich and John AND the wargaming community too.

Having two sets of updates was not popular to say the least and def. a pain in the wazoo for Rich and John.

Well done Rich and John!! :frenchsalute:
