In September I finished off the Campaign Marengo game and am now moving on to looking for work on a more regular basis.

I restarted work on the new Napoleonic series. Had to get set up again with the program files for my newer XP profile (older one was having issues) and this led to some issues of getting the right files installed.

As I was paid out on Campaign Marengo long ago I will need funds to help me last through the month. Donating plasma will give me $50/visit which will help but it wont pay for my internet or box shop mailbox fees or cell phone. The latter is optional but the other two are very important for me to maintain.

Along with hunting work I plan on publishing some novels via Amazon.

Work on the second (sister) game of the early French Rev. Wars/Battles is slow at present. I have already put together five battles for the game. Much more work remains to be done.

The owner here at the house is a good fellow and while in Mexico I do things on the property like sweeping, removing tree debris (we had a bottle brush tree lose several branches - not sure if the neighbor cut them down and threw them onto our property or what), and other odd jobs that come up.

There is no news from a friend of mine in Boise that may have work for me in Twin Falls. I am hoping that I can get back to Idaho where life is a bit simpler and cheaper as well.

Boardgame design is on hold for now. I would still like to publish several titles but the immediate problem is finding at least a part time job.

Followup on the release of Campaign Marengo continues. Looking forward to getting more scenarios and campaigns out for this title as the months go on. A "Battle of Marengo" campaign file is one of the things I would like to add to the first update of the game.

Thanks again to the many people that have helped me make it this far with funding. The Marengo game would not have made it out without your help! Many of you supported me in other ways too so I am not forgetting your contribution as well.

I am confident that by the first of the month I will have work. I would like to be employed no later than the end of the week.

I thought you get pay afterwards, don't you get anything from the sales now?

Just found out I will have to move from where I live. I have mixed feelings about it ... dont have the money to do it but have never worried about that aspect. Where I will move is more of the question.

Will keep you guys posted and yes, this would definitely disrupt my games for some time to come if indeed it does happen and I cant get internet where I live and set up my PC.

Taking life day by day .... but I must admit that the constant wondering of where I will live is a drain.

I put my energies to good use this weekend and finished off the map for the First Battle of Stockach 1799 for the next game. Working on the OB tonight and tomorrow too.

I also updated my Austrian units listing. This means that any designer can open up either the 1796-97 or 1798-1800 file and grab the units they need for an Austrian OB. Has the correct uniform numbers ....

I wanted to do this for the Marengo game before it went out but there were so many things to check ....

Anyway, that is what I do ... get something done instead of worrying .... helps me mentally and gives me a feeling of accomplishment.

Keeping busy is good and that's great about about the Austrian unit listing! A nice bonus....
