I am finding that this link no longer seems to work:

http://www.histofig.com/

Has this site moved and has a new link address?

Specifically I am seeking images for the Saxon army (line infantry, Jagers, foot and horse artiller) for 1796 as well as uniform images or data the cavalry regiment for Saxe-Gotha during this period.

If you can help I would really appreciate it.

Above link works! Found it entirely by accident.

What a week this has been. From Saturday until yesterday solid I have been hunting images for the next game. Finding images for armies in the 1790s is difficult at best. A lot officer images too which are of no use to use for the game.

Many of you will recall that for the Battleground series the games featured many unique images for the French hussars. I went that route this time and also added in unique images for the Austrian hussars too. I finally have identified all of the units we need and our "mock" Units.bmp file is now filling up fast. Hunting some images but pretty much the units hunt is over.

One thing I found out ... at the Battle of Tournay the Dutch units have been mistaken for Hanoverian units. I have an old print map that shows the exact setup for the Allied side and the names of the units are listed. They are the old Dutch Republic units (8 bns. and 4 sqdns). British, Austrian and Hessian units round out the list. No Hanoverians are listed. Not sure why so many historians list the Hanoverians present. They were with the British in the campaign but I am wondering if they were "hors de combat" after the Battle of Tourcoing?

Anyway, enjoy the image site for anyone that might need them. Lots of Napoleonic era images.
