Gents,
I have been absent from doing any admin work for a few months due to work and life catching up with me.
I looked in the Department of Records a few days ago and, for January and February of this year, we had 22 games completed by 19 different players. It is nice to see so many players still having fun with these games.

With the New Game coming out soon we may have to get a new tournament or challenge going!

Glad you are back, Jim. Yes, plenty of games being played. The forum is quiet but the ringing of steels as the cavalry clash is heard across the battlefield!

:frenchvive1:

I suppose I should look for some scenarios in the new game that would be suitable for a tournament. History is rarely balanced which is why I put a lot of variant scenarios into the game.

Bill, a few years back Compass Rose over at the Blitz did a nice little tourney using 3 smaller sub battles of the Battle of Leipzig. Not all tournies must be epic to be fun and competitive!

I totally agree. Often the shorter the quicker the rounds take too.

No tourny should go over 6 mos. imho. People start to lose interest.
