So this month I really went to town on a new game title I am working on with David Freer. Cant go into details but work has come along very well. I also got a lot done on CEF as well. We moved into Phase 2 of the Battle of Eylau testing and my game with Jim Pfluecke is into turn 8. Jim's French came after me on the flanks. Baggovut's Russians were pushed out of their setup location and the right flank saw French light cavalry rough up a couple of Cossack squadrons.

I finished "The Battles of CEF" PDF file. All of the pages are done. Its similar to the one for RBR but with some enhancements. The map labels are visible on the maps and a larger version of the map is posted on the second page for each battle. In Adobe Reader you can zoom in so no real need for a "Planning Map" for each battle ;)

I now am working on the PDF file "The Armies of CEF" - Mark Adams posted most of the Units.bmp images and I have finished up with building the pages for the French army. On to the Russians next. I am 1/4 of the way finished with the document.

I will start working on another project with David soon. There will be a lot of research needed on my part to get the scenario setting correct. Really looking forward to the challenge of working on three games at once. So far its been a blast. I work on one project for a bit and then switch over to complete a task on another. Usually I stick to one game project for any given day but sometimes I have worked on CEF for a bit and then switched over to the new work. Very happy that I have not had any issues with this.

This week is busy with VA hospital appointments. I have appointments on Tuesday and then will (finally) have hernia surgery on Thursday. Recovery from that is six weeks. I intend on being a good patient so that when its all done I can get out and get work. Thanks to all that have supported me through to this point. Hoping that I can get work soon. The market nearby needs people in the deli dept. so I will apply for that once I am able to do lifting.

And finally ... I picked up another new game project! This one is really going to be fun to build. I will build the entire game this time with perhaps some help with the OB sources and map overlay images. Some of my playtesters are moving over to help out with the projects. Its good to have the team continue to help out. Thanks for many of you that playtested the games with me. Still not done and hope to see many more titles published in the future.

My hernia surgery today went very well. I am at home resting. Six weeks of no lifting more than 35lbs. Am up and around today - had a nice nap this afternoon ... meds taking care of the pain ... for three days I will be resting up and then I can get out and move around a bit more.

Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers!
